SET OF SIX MID CENTURY DINING CHAIRS BY ELLIOTS OF NEWBURY
Fantastic set of six dining chairs manufactured by 'Elliots of Newbury' or 'EON' during the 1960s. EON was founded in Berkshire, England during 1926 and, interestingly, switched their production during World War II to making Horsa gliders for the RAF and also produced parts for the 'Spitfire' fighter aircraft.
Produced in solid teak with an open scalloped back and tilted back rest, the chairs would look stunning in any home. Re-upholstered in a Matt black cotton/linen mix they are in excellent condition for their vintage.
18.5" wide x 18.5" deep x 31.5" high
