MID CENTURY CREDENZA BY G PLAN
This tall boy credenza was produced by E. Gomme Ltd of High Wycombe London and is one of the very early Scandinavian pieces that they manufactured in the early 1950s (the Gold stamp was the first label Gomme used to brand their furniture between 1952-1962). The lower deck has two large drawers, one with dividers and one without, while the upper deck has two cupboards and a recessed shelf. The drop down cupboard door on the left reveals cupboard storage as do the traditional doors on the right, with a shelf in each. Sitting on its original solid teak carriage, this is most certainly a statement piece and in excellent condition with normal wear for its vintage.
