Mid Century Credenza by A.H.McIntosh of Scotland
This Scottish 79.5 inch credenza was produced by A.H.McIntosh of Kirkcaldy, Scotland, (founded in 1869 by Alexandra Henry (A.H.) McIntosh) and designed by Thomas Robertson(head designer from 1948-1983 for McIntosh Classics) in the 1960s, this is the piece that is accredited with the number one spot for Roberson's Classic design back catalog,part of his "Dunvegan" range and highly recognisable by its sculpted solid teak handles, with three drawers one with dividers, two doors concealing ample shelved storage, and one pull down door that acts as a drinks/bottle tray, and a pull out shelf above, this is the piece for the serious Mid Century lover, sitting on its original solid teak frame its condition is excellent with usual wear for its vintage.
